Maria Luddy
Since 2003, Maria Luddy has taught Language Arts at St. Thomas More Academy.
Previously, Mrs. Luddy taught high school grammar, composition, middle school grammar, theology, and science at Holy Angels Academy of Louisville, Kentucky -- the oldest independent Catholic school in the nation.

Mrs. Luddy embraces St. Thomas More Academy's classical curriculum, emphasizing sentence diagramming, weekly composition lessons, written assignments, poetry recitations, and a comprehensive, methodical study of vocabulary in her classes.
Mrs. Luddy enjoys participating in the spiritual and academic life of St. Thomas More Academy. Mrs. Luddy helps organize the annual celebrations of St. Joseph's Day and the Blessed Mother’s birthday, as well as the May Procession and the St. Thomas More Academy Spelling Bee.
Mrs. Luddy's past professional experience includes work at Christendom College in Front Royal, Virginia, where she was responsible for planning and coordinating the college's well-respected apologetics conferences and other public and fund-raising events.
Mrs. Luddy has served as an accreditation team member for the National Association of Private Catholic and Independent Schools and on an ad hoc committee on educational reform in North Carolina. Mrs. Luddy is active in pro-life service.
